A good time to set up a ribbon cutting/open house is around 10:30 a.m. - Tuesday - Friday.

We would like to have ten days lead time to set up with the Mayor/City Council and the Ambassadors. Give the Ontario Chamber a call at (541) 889-8012 to make the arrangements.

You may send out invitations to customers or media. The Ontario Chamber will take a picture of your ribbon cutting.  New Business locations will have the opportunity to display your ribbon cutting in The Argus Observer.

At the time of the ribbon cutting/open house, the Mayor and Ontario Chamber President/CEO will say a few words about welcoming your new business and introduce you as the owner or manager.  You in turn can say a few words about your business and introduce your staff. The ribbon is then cut and refreshments may be served, at which time people have the opportunity to tour of your business.
